Commuting Between Taos and Espanola. North Central Regional Transportation District (NCRTD) provides weekday commuter transportation between Taos area and Espanola. www.ncrtd.org; 866.206.0754 Town of Taos Local Chile Line Bus Service. Runs Monday through Friday around town. Students traveling to town owned facilities ride free. Regular one way rides .50 cents. Ski Valley Shuttle. $1 one way trips mid-December through early April between the Town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley. Find schedule information (including numerous hotel stops in the Town of Taos) at www.TaosGov.com or call 575.751.4459. Ski and snowboard racks available on buses. Cottam-Walker Ford Car Rental. Provides free pick up at the Taos Express bus stop in Taos to customers with a reservation, 575.770.8759. Standard car or SUV rentals. Individuals or Group Tour Operators who would be driving must have proof of full coverage U.S. insurance as they do not offer it, but do require it. The Taos Shuttle. 15-person shuttles between Taos and Santa Fe/Albuquerque airports. Day-rate charters available for group tours in the Taos area. www.taosshuttle.com. Enterprise Rent-A-Car. 575.758.5553. Group tours: Mini-vans or 15 passenger vans are available with advance reservations (usually 3 days required). They will be able to provide full coverage insurance at additional cost. El Monte Sagrado, Sagebrush Inn and/or Best Wester Kachina Lodge for Group Tour Operators. These properties have large capacity vehicles that may be negotiated for travel if groups are staying at their establishments. Check with the individual properties for arrangements.
